The Associates Council did not have a meeting for July.  As promised last month, here is our schedule for our upcoming meetings.  On September 10, Associates Council will meet at the HBA office, with lunch provided by the HBA.  On October 8, Associates Council will meet at Metropolitan Title Company, with our hostess, Julie Rousseau.  On November 12, Associates Council will meet at Mid-City Supply, with our hostess, Joyce Watkins.  These “onsite” meetings give our members a chance to see where the rest of us work, and meet fellow co-workers.  Lunch is provided by the host company if they wish.  These meetings have been well attended in the past, and we hope that trend will continue. 

Associates Council is responsible for planning the general membership meetings and other events throughout the year.  This is our largest committee, (and one of the most important!) We welcome new members at any time.  Come and see for yourself what a great group this is. 

In next month’s column, we’ll begin planning for next year, and we have lots of great ideas in store for our membership.
